A Russian drone strike in Ukraine's southeastern Dnipropetrovsk region has killed at least 12 miners and injured eight more, according to officials who are accusing the Kremlin of attacking unarmed civilians.

A Russian drone has hit near a company bus in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, with 15 people reported killed and seven injured.

Several more were wounded in the attack on the bus, which was carrying mineworkers in the southeastern city of Dnipro.

A Russian drone strike has killed 15 mineworkers after it hit a bus in Ukraine, emergency services said on Sunday. The strike also injured seven others and sparked a fire, which was extinguished by firefighters. Private energy firm DTEK said it owned the bus which had been transporting its workers on their way home from their shifts.
