Roblox Corporation has announced the rollout of age-based chat, aimed at enhancing user safety in the online gaming industry.

The popular gaming platform said the tool was designed to stop children from chatting with older users they didn’t know.

Roblox is now requiring selfies, verified either with a government ID or through an AI review, to use its chat functions.
