One of the biggest things that sets one TV show apart from another is THE LOOK of the show. How a show is lit plays a HUGE part in creating that look — the mood, the feel, the visual language of the show. The lighting process is managed by the Director Of Photography (the DP) and is carried out on set by the camera, grip and electric departments.
