Prom (part1) For weeks, she’s been dropping hints — soft smiles in the hallway, saved seats in class, little jokes that only make sense between the two of them. She asks him about his plans for prom, tells him how magical it could be, even mentions how she still doesn’t have a date yet. Each hint is a small confession wrapped in casual words. Each moment is a chance for him to understand. But he doesn’t. He just laughs and changes the subject, thinking she’s talking about dresses and decorations
