It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Jerry Crompton Sr., known to so many of us simply as “Uncle Jer.” He was part of the foundation of Avalon and a proud member of both the Avalon String Band Hall of Fame and the Philadelphia Mummers String Band Hall of Fame.
