It gives a much deeper stretch than normal reverse flyes,since both arms move together in reverse flyes, the range is limited. But when you train one arm at a time while sitting sideways, the arm crosses slightly in front of the body at the bottom, giving you a far greater stretch. When you’re facing away from the machine, the cable pulls at a different angle, so you get a longer stretch unlike regular curls where the weight just drops in front. Easiest way to set it up: stand in your normal cable curl position holding the bar, then turn so the cable passes between your legs and you’re facing away. That’s it,you’re now doing Face Away
