Tucked away just outside Perth, Scotland, Huntingtower Castle is a fascinating place to explore, full of history, legends, and even a few unexpected residents. Built in the 15th century, it was once home to the powerful Ruthven family, but after they got on the wrong side of King James VI, they lost everything, and the castle was taken over by Clan Campbell. Climbing to the Top – Worth the Effort! One of the best things about Huntingtower is climbing to the top. The winding stone staircase leads
